Please know that applying to the Worship Team does not guarantee admission. Acceptance to the team is based on multiple factors, including heart readiness, musical skill, and ability to blend with HCC’s sound.

Step One
Fill out the Serve Team Application and review the "Ministry Participation Document" online (link below). Once your application is submitted, someone will contact you within a few days.
Please Note:
Step Two
Following the approval of your application, you will receive a Worship Team Packet, which outlines the guidelines and expectations for the team. There will also be a form to fill out about your spiritual and musical background. Please review all the information and complete the questionnaire.
Completed packets should be returned to Pastor Marissa Coloma.
Step Three
Upon approval of your completed packet, there will be an in-person interview with someone from our church staff and/or leadership team. We want to get to know you!
Step Four
If all goes well at the interview, an audition will be held with Pastor Marissa and the Worship Team Leads. Instructions and resources will be provided prior to the audition.
After the audition, next steps will be prayerfully considered and given. While our desire is to welcome everyone onto the team, sometimes it is not possible. If at any point during the application process, your application is turned down, please do not take it personal. But rather view it as an opportunity for growth and further development in Christ. No matter what, you are loved and are a valued part of Harbor Christian Center’s family.
A note from our creative arts pastor
Hi Friends,
As a Worship Team, God has given us an assignment to release the sights and sounds of Heaven on the earth. But here's the thing: Without vision people perish. But without people, the vision perishes. Towards the end of 2023, I felt God speak to my heart about 2024. I believe He wants to add 12 new people to our Worship Team this year. 12 worshipers with a pure heart after the Presence and an excellent skill for music. 12 worshipers who will be a vital part in accomplishing all that God has for us!
Our desire is for more of Him... to see the goodness and mercy of Heaven fill our church and our city... to create a space for people to encounter the life-changing presence of Jesus through an atmosphere of pure worship. We live to know Him and make Him known. And, we get to do it through music! What a gift!
Please pray with us that God will add His 12 to our current family of worshipers. I am excited and expectant for what is ahead in 2024!
